Terms of service
The terms you agree to when you buy or use Bringo.
Last updated 26 July 2026
1. What you are buying
Bringo is self-hosted software. You buy a licence to use its source code; you do not buy the copyright. We deliver the software and you install it on hosting you control.
2. Your licence
Each licence covers one production website, unless you bought an edition that states otherwise. Development, testing and staging installations do not count towards that limit.
You may modify the source code freely and use it for your own business or, with the appropriate edition, for a client. You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the source code itself, whether modified or not.
3. Activation
Your installation checks its licence with our server periodically. This confirms the licence is valid and which domain it runs on. If our server is unreachable your installation keeps working — only a licence we deliberately revoke is disabled.
4. Updates and support
Updates are included for as long as we maintain the product, at no extra cost. Support covers installation help and fixing genuine defects, for the period stated on your edition. It does not include writing custom features, configuring third-party services on your behalf, or general programming tuition.
5. Third-party services
Bringo connects to services such as payment gateways, Google Maps, Firebase and AI providers. You need your own accounts with those providers, you agree to their terms, and you pay their fees. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing or decisions.
6. What you are responsible for
- Hosting, backups and the security of your own server
- Complying with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer, tax, food-safety and pharmacy regulations
- The content you publish and the goods you sell
- Keeping your purchase code private
7. Limits of our liability
The software is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us.
8. Ending a licence
We may revoke a licence that was obtained fraudulently, charged back, or used in breach of these terms. You may stop using the software at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms you agreed to at the time of your purchase continue to apply to that purchase.
